Daily Skin Routine Guide

Maintaining a skin routine is an important & cheap investment to make for long term gains.

Morning

Start your day right and prepare your skin for the days challenges!

  1. Step 1:

Wash your face to remove to remove residue from the night before

If you wake up without oily skin or have dry skin, you can skip the morning cleanse but do wash your face properly with water.

If you wake up with oily skin, you can use a cleanser but avoid over washing as it can have adverse affects by causing more oil production.

  2. Step 2:

    Use a Vitamin C serum

This is the most readily available anti-oxidant on the market.

It is the most important serum of your day time routine.

It has been proven to help sun cream work better for your skin.

  3. Step 3:

    Moisturise

If you are in a dry environment, you need thicker, richer moisturisation and then sun cream.

If you are in a humid environment, you can skip the moisturiser or opt for a lightweight hydrating serum and sun cream.

  4. Tip!

    Observe your skin

See how your skin responds by giving it time to acclimate to a product.

Allow 6-8 weeks to observe if a product is making a difference.

Night

Having a night time routine is the best thing you can do for your skin. It is a chance to reset your skin and wash the day away, quite literally!

  1. Step 1:

Wash your face with a cleanser

Cleaning your face at the end of the day can make or break your skin.

Never go to sleep with makeup on, as this on top of your sun cream (which you should be wearing!) plus the days pollution and exposure to the elements are terrible for your skins health.

  2. Step 2:

Utilise a target serum for your specific skin problem

i.e. fine lines, redness, pigmentation, breakouts, elasticity or medical conditions (please see a dermatologist for the latter).

  3. Step 3:

For your eyes, use a lightweight over the counter retinol with a layer of vaseline on top to seal it in

If you have sensitive eyes then put vaseline on first followed by retinol to prevent irritation.

  4. Step 4:

    Moisturise until dewy!

Give your skin the hydration and nutrients it needs.

If you are in a dry environment, you need thicker, richer moisturisation.

If you are in a humid environment, you need a lightweight moisturiser.
